How She Creates Good: Ep 313 Empowering Women in Business in Uganda
How do you bring your dreams of a better world into reality? For Brandi Lea and Britah Neuman, it was pouring their love into social justice, women’s empowerment, and long-term community investment in Uganda. In this interview, Brandi and Britah explain the way they chose to bring their dreams to action by uplifting and supporting single mothers and widows in Uganda. They share how they work to not only financially support these women, but also invest in their lives emotionally and personally to ensure long-term growth. Brandi and Britah highlight the importance of bringing your view of a better world off the screen, beyond the memes, and into action.

I'm a Michigan girl who loves leaving AND coming back home. It might look like I spend my days as a book keeper, mom and wife but while doing that I'm also day dreaming about all the other things I love. I enjoy loving the world through empowerment, exploration, and fair trade. I consider myself an advocate for all three of those things. I especially love empowering the single moms and widows in Uganda, I love traveling and the lessons it teaches me every time, and committing to only fair trade fashion is my way of voting with my dollar for the kind of world I want to leave behind for my two eight year olds and all future generations... one where everyone is treated equal, given dignified opportunities, and know they are worthy of love and respect. And after all that, red wine please.
