2/52 My Super Power: Words

Words are my super power. In writing, in speaking. As a blogger, as a counselor. As a friend, as a wife. I hear them: I internalize them, I sort them, I support them, I refute them, I confirm them, I repeat them. I speak them: I encourage with them, I tear down with them, I paint with them, I lie with them, I laugh with them, I confuse with them, I am gracious with them. I allow them: to challenge, to empower, to encourage, to share, to gossip, to trust, to motivate, to appreciate, to love, to hinder. I read them: to learn, to grow, to escape, to be inspired, to fantasize, to be entertained, to share. Words are my drug and my power. My gift I share. My talent I nurture. Words are mine and yours and ours.52 Portraits is a photography course in self discovery by Vanessa and is hosted through Get Messy Art Journal.
