Y'all. 7 days. 7 days is all I have left! Less now that you are reading this!!! With that said my art journal has been suffering lately. I've been busy living (and watching old movies on Netflix to avoid packing). So here are some quick pages I made for this weeks installment. I cannot wait to have a designated place to create again that is all set up for me anytime inspiration (or da deadline) hits....sigh..For this first page I made a 7 out of washi tape. Then I stuck a gold piece of washi tap on a scrap piece of paper and then used a normal hole puncher to create the dots! Quick, easy, adorable. Everything is prettier with gold dots! Then I wrote about all the things that I would have for the next 7 days, lose in the next 7 days and gain in the next 7 days. If you can read my handwriting (click to enlarge the photo) its amazing how we can look at something from 2 very different perspectives. This was a fascinating and fun and therapeutic journaling prompt. Here the words were way more important than the prettiness.
I felt that this page was very Caylee. I think minimalism is my favorite, but is the hardest because I have to work twice as hard to force myself into stopping. But I love it. Love it.
