Get Messy: Art Journal 06
For this weeks Get Messy installment I thought I would do a little art journal throw back! These are pages from a few years ago when I first started working through the A Beautiful Mess class for the first time. (which is why art journal prompts/courses are so fabulous: they are timeless and recyclable!)This first page is actually the background photo for the Get Messy button! The journaling on this one is really personal, but something that I grapple with a lot and am constantly evaluating the hold materialism has in my life. Ps. this is one of my all time favorite pages! These were my 2013 New Years resolutions. Yeah I didn't do so well. I don't even own a tennis racket anymore... But I can honestly say that blogging and being involved in challenges like this one have taken my goal setting and accomplishing abilities to a whole new level! This is possibly one of my favorite things I've ever done. I took a quintessential summer photo and wrote summer goals on it with a scrapbooking marker/pen. Then I checked them off as we accomplished them. Simple yet effective. We have some really exciting changes coming to Get Messy soon so be on the lookout! In the meantime make sure you check out what my crafty friends made using the links below!Get Messy is an art journal challenge where a gang of crafty vixens are sharing art journal pages we have created to practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire.
