Weavings at Pigeon River Mercantile
Today is the best day! My weavings are officially for sale at Pigeon River Mercantile!
I created this collection inspired by fall in the Blue Ridge Mountains and each are named after a local hike or area here. This place has endlessly inspired me and I want its beauty in ALL of my art!
These pieces are up for display and sell in Canton, NC at the Pigeon River Mercantile. You can swing by and see them (the texture needs to be felt!!) if you're local or are on a road trip on interstate 40. Downtown Canton is just TOO cute. If you stop by grab a meal at the Southern Porch and coffee at Papertown Coffee and snag a cupcake from next door.
Its funny how this little collab came to be. Terrell is teaching in Canton and Laszlo and I went to have lunch with him at school (before students came back) and afterwards we had a little date wandering around downtown as its full of adorable shops.
Laz was being a diva and would not walk in the sun. He hid in the shade in front of the Mercantile so I gave in and took him inside to get some air con. As I browsed and found the BEST vintage tins to oragnize my art supplies, I realzed that it was an artist boutique mercantile! The owner and I got to chatting and next thing I knew I was creating a collection for display on their main wall behind the counter!
So, after lots of movie watching, GIANT loom building, fall color adoring, and endless under over loops around my warp - this collection is alive and waiting for new homes!
Here's a look at each piece and if you'd like your own - I take commissions! We can work within your color scheme, vision, price range, inspiration and size. Get in touch to add some cozy texture to your walls!
