Halloween throwback!
Well hello carnies! We have been out enjoying the circus lately and have been swept up in the crowd and not been posting, but were back! We wanted to share a little glimpse into our Halloween party we had for our college small group that Terrell and I lead. But again, I got swept up in the fun and was horrible at taking pictures. So just imagine lots of college kids dressed up, standing in our backyard by the fire pit with twinkling lights all around and lots of smores.....
These are my lovely ladies (were missing a few)
And here are our very creative costumes....Dont judge us....
And onto the party fun! Thanks to Pinterest, I found the recipe for our favorite caramel apple cider! It is super easy:
And some delicious and seasonally appropriate snack mix!
And another pinterest find, I made some really cute decorations and I will be making them for EVERY season!
Here is quick tutorial:
These are your materials:
Seriously all you do is cut the tissue paper in strips, mod podge them to the jars, cut out your shapes to make your faces out of tissue paper and glue them down as well.
Add a tea light and instant spookiness!
And no party is complete without some pumpkin carving! Yes the girls is the cutest and most detailed, but when you turn the boys Pac Man eats the dots (coins?) until he runs into a ghost...actually it was really impressive.
And then of course we had a small photo session of our own after everyone left....
We just love getting to spend our time sharing life with our wonderful college kids and who doesnt love a good party?
Now it's time to get ready for Thanksgiving...wow!
